About Arizona Fantasy 5

Below the jackpot, Arizona Fantasy 5 prizes are fixed: $500 for four numbers, $5 for three and $1 for two. About one ticket in ten is randomly made a DOUBLER, which doubles those prizes at no extra cost.

The jackpot starts at $50,000 and grows until someone wins it. With 41 numbers and a daily draw, a wheel on 10 or 12 numbers catches three winning numbers on a fair share of draws; each option above shows exactly how often.

What Arizona Fantasy 5 wheels cost

Each of these wheels guarantees a three-number match ($5) whenever at least three of the winning numbers are among the ones you mark. The more numbers you mark, the more often that happens, and the more tickets it takes.

Numbers you markTicketsCost per drawCost per weekHow often the guarantee comes into play
8 of 418$8$561 in 23 draws, about once every 3 weeks
10 of 4117$17$1191 in 12 draws, about once every 2 weeks

The cost per week covers all 7 draws a week. The tool above also has cheaper wheels with weaker guarantees, and bigger ones that guarantee four or five numbers.

Can a wheel improve your odds?

No. Each line still has the same 1 in 749,398 chance at the top prize and returns about $0.28 in other prizes on average, however you choose its numbers. What a wheel changes is how your wins are grouped: random tickets can all miss even when the draw lands on your numbers, and a wheel makes sure at least one ticket catches them. Questions

How many numbers should I mark?

As many as your budget allows. In Arizona Fantasy 5, going from 8 to 18 numbers takes the cost from $8 to $94 a draw, and the three-number guarantee from 1 in 23 draws to 1 in 2.6. Lottery pools can afford the bigger wheels, which is where wheels make the most sense.

Can I take this printout to the store?

Not as a playslip: Arizona doesn't accept printed playslips. Copy your lines onto official playslips, or read them to the clerk. Arizona Lottery tickets are sold only in stores, not online.
