About Roadrunner Cash
Below the jackpot, Roadrunner Cash prizes are fixed: $200 for four numbers, $5 for three and $1 for two. The jackpot starts at $25,000 and grows until someone wins it.
It is drawn every night, and with 37 numbers a wheel on 10 or 12 of them catches three winning numbers on a fair share of draws. Each option above shows exactly how often.
What Roadrunner Cash wheels cost
Each of these wheels guarantees a three-number match ($5) whenever at least three of the winning numbers are among the ones you mark. The more numbers you mark, the more often that happens, and the more tickets it takes.
| Numbers you mark | Tickets | Cost per draw | Cost per week | How often the guarantee comes into play |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 of 37 | 8 | $8 | $56 | 1 in 18 draws, about once every 3 weeks |
| 10 of 37 | 17 | $17 | $119 | 1 in 9.1 draws, about once a week or more |
| 12 of 37 | 29 | $29 | $203 | 1 in 5.5 draws, about once a week or more |
| 15 of 37 | 55 | $55 | $385 | 1 in 3.2 draws, about once a week or more |
| 18 of 37 | 94 | $94 | $658 | 1 in 2.1 draws, about once a week or more |
The cost per week covers all 7 draws a week. The tool above also has cheaper wheels with weaker guarantees, and bigger ones that guarantee four or five numbers.

Can a wheel improve your odds?
No. Each line still has the same 1 in 435,897 chance at the top prize and returns about $0.24 in other prizes on average, however you choose its numbers. What a wheel changes is how your wins are grouped: random tickets can all miss even when the draw lands on your numbers, and a wheel makes sure at least one ticket catches them. Questions
How many numbers should I mark?
As many as your budget allows. In Roadrunner Cash, going from 8 to 18 numbers takes the cost from $8 to $94 a draw, and the three-number guarantee from 1 in 18 draws to 1 in 2.1. Lottery pools can afford the bigger wheels, which is where wheels make the most sense.
Can I take this printout to the store?
Not as a playslip: New Mexico only accepts official playslips marked by hand. Copy your lines onto them, or read them to the clerk. New Mexico Lottery tickets aren't sold online.
