About Oklahoma Cash 5
Every Oklahoma Cash 5 prize is fixed: $25,000 for all five numbers, $500 for four and $10 for three, and two numbers win a free ticket. The top prize is unusual: the Lottery pays the taxes on it, so a winner keeps the full $25,000.
With only 36 numbers and a daily draw, a wheel on 10 or 12 of them catches three winning numbers on a good share of draws. Each option above shows exactly how often.
What Oklahoma Cash 5 wheels cost
Each of these wheels guarantees a three-number match ($10) whenever at least three of the winning numbers are among the ones you mark. The more numbers you mark, the more often that happens, and the more tickets it takes.
| Numbers you mark | Tickets | Cost per draw | Cost per week | How often the guarantee comes into play |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 of 36 | 8 | $8 | $56 | 1 in 16 draws, about once every 2 weeks |
| 10 of 36 | 17 | $17 | $119 | 1 in 8.4 draws, about once a week or more |
| 12 of 36 | 29 | $29 | $203 | 1 in 5.1 draws, about once a week or more |
| 15 of 36 | 55 | $55 | $385 | 1 in 3.0 draws, about 2 times a week |
| 18 of 36 | 94 | $94 | $658 | 1 in 2.0 draws, about 4 times a week |
The cost per week covers all 7 draws a week. The tool above also has cheaper wheels with weaker guarantees, and bigger ones that guarantee four or five numbers.
Match-2 wheels: more numbers for fewer tickets
In Oklahoma Cash 5, two numbers on one line wins a free ticket. A match-2 wheel guarantees that whenever at least two of the winning numbers are among the ones you mark, at least one ticket matches two. That takes far fewer tickets than a three-number guarantee, so the same money covers many more numbers.
It doesn't change your odds or your average return: whichever tickets you play, two-number prizes give back about 12% of what you spend. What it changes is how regularly those small wins come and, with more numbers marked, how often three or four winning numbers land among yours by luck.
| Numbers you mark | Tickets | Cost per draw | A match-3 wheel would need | How often the guarantee comes into play |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 of 36 | 6 | $6 | 17 tickets | 43% of draws, about 3 times a week |
| 12 of 36 | 9 | $9 | 29 tickets | 55% of draws, about 4 times a week |
| 15 of 36 | 13 | $13 | 55 tickets | 71% of draws, about 5 times a week |
| 20 of 36 | 21 | $21 | 133 tickets | 89% of draws, about 6 times a week |
| 25 of 36 | 30 | $30 | more than 300 tickets | 98% of draws, about 7 times a week |
| 30 of 36 | 48 | $48 | more than 300 tickets | 100% of draws, about 7 times a week |
Mark your numbers in the tool above and choose a "Match 2 if 2" wheel to see its tickets.
Key-number wheels
A key number goes on every ticket, and a smaller wheel covers the rest of your numbers. That cuts the cost a lot, which is why key wheels are popular. The catch is that the guarantee only counts in draws where your key is drawn, and in Oklahoma Cash 5 any one number is drawn about once in 7 draws.
So for the same money, a normal wheel's guarantee comes into play more often. Here are three-number guarantees side by side:
| Your numbers | Tickets | Cost per draw | Guarantee comes into play | Best normal wheel for the same money |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 key + 8 others | 6 | $6 | 1 in 33 draws | 7 numbers, 5 tickets: 1 in 25 draws |
| 1 key + 12 others | 12 | $12 | 1 in 17 draws | 9 numbers, 12 tickets: 1 in 11 draws |
| 1 key + 16 others | 20 | $20 | 1 in 11 draws | 11 numbers, 20 tickets: 1 in 6.5 draws |
| 2 keys + 7 others | 3 | $3 | 1 in 123 draws | none this cheap |
| 2 keys + 11 others | 4 | $4 | 1 in 89 draws | 6 numbers, 4 tickets: 1 in 41 draws |
| 2 keys + 15 others | 5 | $5 | 1 in 75 draws | 7 numbers, 5 tickets: 1 in 25 draws |
To use one, mark your numbers in the tool above, then choose one or two of them as key numbers.
Oklahoma Cash 5 prizes and odds

Every prize is fixed. The Lottery pays the taxes on the $25,000 top prize for up to five winners; with six or more in one draw, they share $200,000 before tax. Two numbers win a free ticket. Average return counts a free ticket at its $1 price. Rules, prizes and odds were checked on October 3, 2026 against the official source; always confirm them, and your results, at oklottery.com.
Can a wheel improve your odds?
No. Each line still has the same 1 in 376,992 chance at the top prize and returns about $0.45 in other prizes on average, however you choose its numbers. What a wheel changes is how your wins are grouped: random tickets can all miss even when the draw lands on your numbers, and a wheel makes sure at least one ticket catches them. Questions
How many numbers should I mark?
As many as your budget allows. In Oklahoma Cash 5, going from 8 to 18 numbers takes the cost from $8 to $94 a draw, and the three-number guarantee from 1 in 16 draws to 1 in 2.0. Lottery pools can afford the bigger wheels, which is where wheels make the most sense.
Can I play online?
No. Oklahoma Cash 5 tickets are sold only in stores, at the counter or from the Lottery's self-service machines.
