About Wild Money
After the five winning numbers, Wild Money draws an Extra ball from the 33 left. You don't pick it: if it matches one of your numbers that missed, your prize goes up. Four numbers pay $200, or $1,500 with the Extra ball; three pay $5, or $50.
The jackpot starts at $20,000 and is won often, several times in July to September 2026, so it rarely grows very large.
Matching two numbers without the Extra ball pays nothing in Wild Money, so every wheel here guarantees at least a three-number match. Be wary of any system that promises "two numbers every time."
What Wild Money wheels cost
Each of these wheels guarantees a three-number match ($5) whenever at least three of the winning numbers are among the ones you mark. The more numbers you mark, the more often that happens, and the more tickets it takes.
| Numbers you mark | Tickets | Cost per draw | Cost per week | How often the guarantee comes into play |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 of 38 | 8 | $8 | $56 | 1 in 19 draws, about once every 3 weeks |
| 10 of 38 | 17 | $17 | $119 | 1 in 9.7 draws, about once a week or more |
| 12 of 38 | 29 | $29 | $203 | 1 in 5.9 draws, about once a week or more |
| 15 of 38 | 55 | $55 | $385 | 1 in 3.4 draws, about once a week or more |
| 18 of 38 | 94 | $94 | $658 | 1 in 2.2 draws, about once a week or more |
The cost per week covers all 7 draws a week. The tool above also has cheaper wheels with weaker guarantees, and bigger ones that guarantee four or five numbers.

Can a wheel improve your odds?
No. Each line still has the same 1 in 501,942 chance at the top prize and returns about $0.26 in other prizes on average, however you choose its numbers. What a wheel changes is how your wins are grouped: random tickets can all miss even when the draw lands on your numbers, and a wheel makes sure at least one ticket catches them. Questions
How many numbers should I mark?
As many as your budget allows. In Wild Money, going from 8 to 18 numbers takes the cost from $8 to $94 a draw, and the three-number guarantee from 1 in 19 draws to 1 in 2.2. Lottery pools can afford the bigger wheels, which is where wheels make the most sense.
Can I play online?
Yes. Since 2026 the Rhode Island Lottery sells Wild Money on its website and app to players in Rhode Island. The app can also make digital playslips that retailers scan.
