About Colorado Cash 5
Every Colorado Cash 5 prize is fixed: $20,000 for all five numbers, $200 for four, $10 for three and $1 for two. That makes every wheel guarantee here worth a known amount.
With only 32 numbers, the draw lands on several of yours often, and a wheel on 10 or 12 numbers catches three winning numbers on a good share of draws. Each option above shows exactly how often.
What Colorado Cash 5 wheels cost
Each of these wheels guarantees a three-number match ($10) whenever at least three of the winning numbers are among the ones you mark. The more numbers you mark, the more often that happens, and the more tickets it takes.
| Numbers you mark | Tickets | Cost per draw | Cost per week | How often the guarantee comes into play |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 of 32 | 8 | $8 | $56 | 1 in 12 draws, about once every 2 weeks |
| 10 of 32 | 17 | $17 | $119 | 1 in 6.2 draws, about once a week or more |
| 12 of 32 | 29 | $29 | $203 | 1 in 3.8 draws, about once a week or more |
| 15 of 32 | 55 | $55 | $385 | 1 in 2.3 draws, about once a week or more |
| 18 of 32 | 94 | $94 | $658 | 62% draws, about once a week or more |
The cost per week covers all 7 draws a week. The tool above also has cheaper wheels with weaker guarantees, and bigger ones that guarantee four or five numbers.

Can a wheel improve your odds?
No. Each line still has the same 1 in 201,376 chance at the top prize and returns about $0.45 in other prizes on average, however you choose its numbers. What a wheel changes is how your wins are grouped: random tickets can all miss even when the draw lands on your numbers, and a wheel makes sure at least one ticket catches them. Questions
How many numbers should I mark?
As many as your budget allows. In Colorado Cash 5, going from 8 to 18 numbers takes the cost from $8 to $94 a draw, and the three-number guarantee from 1 in 12 draws to 62%. Lottery pools can afford the bigger wheels, which is where wheels make the most sense.
What is EZ Match?
For $1 more per line, you get an instant-win game printed on your ticket that pays on the spot. It's separate from the drawing, and it applies to every line on the ticket, so it doubles a wheel's cost.
Can I hand this printout to the clerk?
Not as a playslip. Colorado's rules don't accept copies of playslips or slips the Lottery didn't print, so copy your lines onto official playslips or read them to the clerk.
Can I play online?
Not yet. Colorado approved online sales in December 2025 but hasn't launched them, so buy from a Colorado Lottery retailer.
