About Colorado Lotto+
Every $2 Lotto+ line comes with a random multiplier, printed on the ticket when you buy it, that raises every prize below the jackpot: 2X half the time, 3X three times in ten, and 4X or 5X one time in ten each. All the lines on one ticket share the same multiplier, so a wheel split over several tickets spreads that luck.
At 2X, three numbers pay $6, four pay $50 and five pay $500; at 5X they pay $15, $125 and $1,250. The jackpot starts at $1 million and grows until someone wins it.
Matching two numbers pays nothing in Colorado Lotto+, so every wheel here guarantees at least a three-number match. Be wary of any system that promises "two numbers every time."
What Colorado Lotto+ wheels cost
Each of these wheels guarantees a three-number match (at least $6) whenever at least three of the winning numbers are among the ones you mark. The more numbers you mark, the more often that happens, and the more tickets it takes.
| Numbers you mark | Tickets | Cost per draw | Cost per week | How often the guarantee comes into play |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 of 40 | 4 | $8 | $24 | 1 in 12 draws, about once every 4 weeks |
| 10 of 40 | 10 | $20 | $60 | 1 in 6.5 draws, about once every 2 weeks |
| 12 of 40 | 15 | $30 | $90 | 1 in 4.1 draws, about once a week or more |
| 15 of 40 | 31 | $62 | $186 | 1 in 2.5 draws, about once a week or more |
| 18 of 40 | 48 | $96 | $288 | 57% draws, about once a week or more |
The cost per week covers all 3 draws a week. The tool above also has cheaper wheels with weaker guarantees, and bigger ones that guarantee four or five numbers.

Every ticket gets a random 2X, 3X, 4X or 5X multiplier on all prizes below the jackpot, and all lines on one ticket share it. Prizes shown run from 2X to 5X. The jackpot starts at $1 million (half that in cash), grows until it is won and is shared among winners. Can a wheel improve your odds?
No. Each line still has the same 1 in 3,838,380 chance at the top prize and returns about $0.45 in other prizes on average, however you choose its numbers. What a wheel changes is how your wins are grouped: random tickets can all miss even when the draw lands on your numbers, and a wheel makes sure at least one ticket catches them. Questions
How many numbers should I mark?
As many as your budget allows. In Colorado Lotto+, going from 8 to 18 numbers takes the cost from $8 to $96 a draw, and the three-number guarantee from 1 in 12 draws to 57%. Lottery pools can afford the bigger wheels, which is where wheels make the most sense.
What is Plus?
For $1 more per line, your numbers also go into a second drawing straight after the main one, with a $250,000 top prize and the multiplier on the other prizes. It applies to every line on the ticket, so it raises a wheel's cost by half.
Can I hand this printout to the clerk?
Not as a playslip. Colorado's rules don't accept copies of playslips or slips the Lottery didn't print, so copy your lines onto official playslips or read them to the clerk.
Can I play online?
Not yet. Colorado approved online sales in December 2025 but hasn't launched them, so buy from a Colorado Lottery retailer.
