About Mass Cash
Every Mass Cash prize is fixed: $10 for three numbers, $250 for four and $100,000 for all five, and the top prize isn't shared, so each winner gets the full amount. That makes it one of the clearest games to wheel.
With only 35 numbers and two draws a day, the draw lands on several of your numbers often. Each wheel option above shows exactly how often its guarantee pays off.
Matching two numbers pays nothing in Mass Cash, so every wheel here guarantees at least a three-number match. Be wary of any system that promises "two numbers every time."
What Mass Cash wheels cost
Each of these wheels guarantees a three-number match ($10) whenever at least three of the winning numbers are among the ones you mark. The more numbers you mark, the more often that happens, and the more tickets it takes.
| Numbers you mark | Tickets | Cost per draw | Cost per week | How often the guarantee comes into play |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 of 35 | 8 | $8 | $112 | 1 in 15 draws, about once a week or more |
| 10 of 35 | 17 | $17 | $238 | 1 in 7.8 draws, about once a week or more |
| 12 of 35 | 29 | $29 | $406 | 1 in 4.8 draws, about once a week or more |
| 15 of 35 | 55 | $55 | $770 | 1 in 2.8 draws, about once a week or more |
| 18 of 35 | 94 | $94 | $1,316 | 53% draws, about once a week or more |
The cost per week covers all 14 draws a week. The tool above also has cheaper wheels with weaker guarantees, and bigger ones that guarantee four or five numbers.
Mass Cash prizes and odds
| Match | Prize | Odds per line |

| 4 numbers | $250 | 1 in 2,164 |
| 3 numbers | $10 | 1 in 74.63 |
All prizes are fixed, and every top-prize winner gets the full $100,000 rather than sharing it. There is no prize for matching two numbers. Rules, prizes and odds were checked on October 1, 2026 against the official source; always confirm them, and your results, at masslottery.com.
Can a wheel improve your odds?
No. Each line still has the same 1 in 324,632 chance at the top prize and returns about $0.25 in other prizes on average, however you choose its numbers. What a wheel changes is how your wins are grouped: random tickets can all miss even when the draw lands on your numbers, and a wheel makes sure at least one ticket catches them. Questions
How many numbers should I mark?
As many as your budget allows. In Mass Cash, going from 8 to 18 numbers takes the cost from $8 to $94 a draw, and the three-number guarantee from 1 in 15 draws to 53%. Lottery pools can afford the bigger wheels, which is where wheels make the most sense.
Midday or evening?
Mass Cash is drawn at 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. Mark MIDDAY, EVENING or BOTH on the bet slip; both draws doubles the cost of a wheel.
Can I play Mass Cash online?
Yes. Since July 2026 the Massachusetts Lottery sells Mass Cash on its own website and app to players 21 and over who are in Massachusetts.
