About Jersey Cash 5
In Jersey Cash 5, the last of the five numbers drawn is the BULLSEYE. If one of your matching numbers is the BULLSEYE, the prize doubles: three numbers pays $30 instead of $15, four pays $500 instead of $250, and two numbers pays $5, which otherwise pays nothing.
The jackpot starts at $150,000, is paid in cash and is won often: 14 times between late June and late September 2026, from $80,000 to nearly $3 million per ticket.
Matching two numbers without the BULLSEYE pays nothing in Jersey Cash 5, so every wheel here guarantees at least a three-number match. Be wary of any system that promises "two numbers every time."
What Jersey Cash 5 wheels cost
Each of these wheels guarantees a three-number match ($15, or $30 with the BULLSEYE) whenever at least three of the winning numbers are among the ones you mark. The more numbers you mark, the more often that happens, and the more tickets it takes.
| Numbers you mark | Tickets | Cost per draw | Cost per week | How often the guarantee comes into play |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 of 45 | 8 | $16 | $112 | 1 in 31 draws, about once every 4 weeks |
| 10 of 45 | 17 | $34 | $238 | 1 in 15 draws, about once every 2 weeks |
| 12 of 45 | 29 | $58 | $406 | 1 in 9.2 draws, about once a week or more |
| 15 of 45 | 55 | $110 | $770 | 1 in 5.1 draws, about once a week or more |
| 18 of 45 | 94 | $188 | $1,316 | 1 in 3.2 draws, about once a week or more |
The cost per week covers all 7 draws a week. The tool above also has cheaper wheels with weaker guarantees, and bigger ones that guarantee four or five numbers.

Can a wheel improve your odds?
No. Each line still has the same 1 in 1,221,759 chance at the top prize and returns about $0.39 in other prizes on average, however you choose its numbers. What a wheel changes is how your wins are grouped: random tickets can all miss even when the draw lands on your numbers, and a wheel makes sure at least one ticket catches them. Questions
How many numbers should I mark?
As many as your budget allows. In Jersey Cash 5, going from 8 to 18 numbers takes the cost from $16 to $188 a draw, and the three-number guarantee from 1 in 31 draws to 1 in 3.2. Lottery pools can afford the bigger wheels, which is where wheels make the most sense.
What is XTRA?
For $1 more per line, a multiplier from 2x to 5x is drawn after each Jersey Cash 5 drawing and multiplies every prize except the jackpot. It adds $1 to every line of a wheel.
Can I use a digital playslip?
Yes. The New Jersey Lottery app's ePlayslip turns your numbers into a barcode the retailer scans, which saves filling in paper slips for a big wheel.
