About Daily Tennessee Jackpot

Below the jackpot, Daily Tennessee Jackpot prizes are fixed: $100 for four numbers, $5 for three and $1 for two. The jackpot starts at $30,000 and grows until someone wins it.

It is drawn every night, and with 38 numbers a wheel on 10 or 12 of them catches three winning numbers on a fair share of draws. Each option above shows exactly how often.

What Daily Tennessee Jackpot wheels cost

Each of these wheels guarantees a three-number match ($5) whenever at least three of the winning numbers are among the ones you mark. The more numbers you mark, the more often that happens, and the more tickets it takes.

Numbers you markTicketsCost per drawCost per weekHow often the guarantee comes into play
8 of 388$8$561 in 19 draws, about once every 3 weeks

The cost per week covers all 7 draws a week. The tool above also has cheaper wheels with weaker guarantees, and bigger ones that guarantee four or five numbers.

Can a wheel improve your odds?

No. Each line still has the same 1 in 501,942 chance at the top prize and returns about $0.19 in other prizes on average, however you choose its numbers. What a wheel changes is how your wins are grouped: random tickets can all miss even when the draw lands on your numbers, and a wheel makes sure at least one ticket catches them. Questions

How many numbers should I mark?

As many as your budget allows. In Daily Tennessee Jackpot, going from 8 to 18 numbers takes the cost from $8 to $94 a draw, and the three-number guarantee from 1 in 19 draws to 1 in 2.2. Lottery pools can afford the bigger wheels, which is where wheels make the most sense.

Can I use my phone to play?

The Tennessee Lottery app can turn your numbers into a mobile playslip (a QR code) that the retailer scans. That's quicker than marking a paper slip for a big wheel.
