About Pennsylvania Cash 5
Below the jackpot, Pennsylvania Cash 5 prizes are fixed: $200 for four numbers, $10 for three and $2 for two. The jackpot starts at $150,000 and was won nine times in July to September 2026, for $300,000 to $1.7 million.
Every $2 play also includes Quick Cash, an instant game printed on its own ticket that pays $2 (1 in 5) or $6 (1 in 80). Going by those official odds, it pays back about 48¢ per play on average, on top of the drawing.
What Pennsylvania Cash 5 wheels cost
Each of these wheels guarantees a three-number match ($10) whenever at least three of the winning numbers are among the ones you mark. The more numbers you mark, the more often that happens, and the more tickets it takes.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 of 43 | 8 | $16 | $112 | 1 in 27 draws, about once every 4 weeks |

Can a wheel improve your odds?
No. Each line still has the same 1 in 962,598 chance at the top prize and returns about $0.29 in other prizes on average, however you choose its numbers. What a wheel changes is how your wins are grouped: random tickets can all miss even when the draw lands on your numbers, and a wheel makes sure at least one ticket catches them. Questions
How many numbers should I mark?
As many as your budget allows. In Pennsylvania Cash 5, going from 8 to 18 numbers takes the cost from $16 to $188 a draw, and the three-number guarantee from 1 in 27 draws to 1 in 2.9. Lottery pools can afford the bigger wheels, which is where wheels make the most sense.
Can I play Cash 5 online?
It doesn't appear to be sold through PA iLottery; buy it from a Pennsylvania Lottery retailer.
