About Weekday Windfall

Weekday Windfall replaced Monday & Wednesday Lotto in May 2024 and added a Friday draw. It's called Millionaire Medley in Western Australia. Division 1 is a fixed $1 million each for up to six winners.

Three winning numbers pay nothing here without a supplementary, so a wheel's three-number match only wins when a supplementary also lands on that line. Four numbers always win Division 4, so wheels that cover four numbers suit this game best.

Matching two numbers without the Supplementaries pays nothing in Weekday Windfall, so every wheel here guarantees at least a three-number match. Be wary of any system that promises "two numbers every time."

What Weekday Windfall wheels cost

Each of these wheels guarantees a three-number match (a prize only with a supplementary) whenever at least three of the winning numbers are among the ones you mark. The more numbers you mark, the more often that happens, and the more tickets it takes.

Numbers you markTicketsCost per drawCost per weekHow often the guarantee comes into play
8 of 454$2.70$8.101 in 17 draws, about once every 6 weeks
10 of 4510$6.80$20.401 in 8.9 draws, about once every 3 weeks
12 of 4515$10.10$30.301 in 5.5 draws, about once every 2 weeks
15 of 4531$20.90$62.701 in 3.2 draws, about once a week or more
18 of 4548$32.30$96.901 in 2.2 draws, about once a week or more

The cost per week covers all 3 draws a week. The tool above also has cheaper wheels with weaker guarantees, and bigger ones that guarantee four or five numbers.

Weekday Windfall System entries and wheels

A System entry plays every combination of the numbers you choose, at the full price of every game, so if all the winning numbers are among yours, it holds them. A wheel plays a few of those games instead. If 4 of your numbers are drawn, at least one of its games matches 4 (usually about $30); it can't promise more than that.

Your numbersSystem entryWheel: 4 if 4 are drawnWheel: 4 if 5 are drawn

12924 games, $622.6041 games, $27.6014 games, $9.45

System prices are the official selling fees, and so are the wheels' prices. No choice of games changes the odds of any one game, or what entries pay back on average.

Key-number wheels

A key number goes on every ticket, and a smaller wheel covers the rest of your numbers. That cuts the cost a lot, which is why key wheels are popular. The catch is that the guarantee only counts in draws where your key is drawn, and in Weekday Windfall any one number is drawn about once in 8 draws.

So for the same money, a normal wheel's guarantee comes into play more often. Here are three-number guarantees side by side:

Every division shares a prize pool, so the amounts vary; those shown are typical recent ones. Division 1 pays $1 million to each winner, up to six; more than six share $6 million. Unlike Saturday Lotto, three winning numbers win nothing without a supplementary, and one or two numbers plus both supplementaries win Division 6. Rules, prizes and odds were checked on October 5, 2026 against the official source; always confirm them, and your results, at The Lott or Lotterywest.

Can a wheel improve your odds?

No. Each line still has the same 1 in 8,145,060 chance at the top prize, and the same average return, however you choose its numbers. What a wheel changes is how your wins are grouped: random tickets can all miss even when the draw lands on your numbers, and a wheel makes sure at least one ticket catches them. Questions

How many numbers should I mark?

As many as your budget allows. In Weekday Windfall, going from 8 to 18 numbers takes the cost from $2.70 to $32.30 a draw, and the three-number guarantee from 1 in 17 draws to 1 in 2.2. Lottery pools can afford the bigger wheels, which is where wheels make the most sense.

How do I play these tickets in Australia?

Mark each line on an official coupon by hand at a lottery outlet, or enter them online or in the app: The Lott everywhere except Western Australia, Lotterywest there. A coupon holds up to 18 games and an online entry up to 50. Saved as Favourites in The Lott, a big wheel can be played in store by scanning your member card.
